Wladyslaw “Walter” Piekarek, age 74, passed away on Tuesday September 12, 2023 with his family by his side. Walter is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Irena (nee Wiczling) Piekarek; three sons, Chris (Bozena) Piekarek, Dariusz (Miroslawa) Piekarek, and Gregory (Catherine) Piekarek; 11 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Krystyna Margella.
Walter was born in Poland, and had been a longtime resident of Cumberland County, NJ. He served his community as a Pastor at Full Gospel Church in Perth Amboy, NJ, then later as a Minister at the Slavic Pentecostal Church of Millville. Walter was passionate about music, cooking and photography, but most passionate about spending time with his family.
