Winfield Floyd Hickman, age 58 of Millville, died Monday morning, May 27, 2013 at Eagleview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Pittsgrove Twp. He had been in declining health for a few years.
Born and raised in Millville, he was a life long resident.
For many years, Mr. Hickman worked as a laborer for Zack Higginbotham Trash Services. Prior to that, he worked as a box assembler for Holly City Packaging.
He enjoyed family time with his nieces and nephews, holidays, going to the boardwalk, fishing, boating, bicycling, playing BINGO, and socializing.
Mr. Hickman is survived by four sisters, Ella Willis of Millville, Alice Zarr of Vineland, and Helen Woody and Juanita Wolbert, both of Buena; and his two nieces and a nephew who were also his caretakers, Connie Rocco, Hannah Wills, and Billy Wills. He was predeceased by one sister Hannah Rose Wills; and two brothers, Paul and Franklin Hickman.
A private graveside service and inurnment for family and close friends will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Millville.
Arrangements are under the direction of Christy Funeral Home, Millville.
