Virginia Ann Drake, age 72, of Bridgeton, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, August 7th, 2024. Born in Bridgeton, NJ, she was a longtime of both Millville and Bridgeton.

Virginia is survived by her son Garrett T. Drake, Jr., her siblings Minnie Eberhart, Sama Watson, Mary Irfan-Ali, Porter Hayes, and Horace Hayes, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her spouse Garrett T. Drake Sr., father Samuel Hayes, mother Annie Mae Hayes, and her siblings Hardy Hayes and Brenda Hayes, as well as by the numerous friends and neighbors whose lives she touched with her kindness and generosity.

Virginia will be remembered for her willingness to help anyone in need, and her dedication to making the world a better place.

Viewing will be held at Christy Funeral Home in Millville, NJ on Thursday, August 15th, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville, NJ. Memories of Virginia and condolences for her family may be shared on the tribute wall.
