Violet M. (Pangburn) Cossaboon, age 90 of Pennsville and formerly of Millville, passed away early Friday morning, May 2, 2014 at the South Gate Nursing Home in Carney's Point after a lengthy illness.
Born in Millville, Mrs. Cossaboon graduated from Millville Senior High School, class of 1940.
She was a homemaker, and she was an active member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Pennsville.
She loved to bake and cook, and she especially enjoyed decorating cakes. She was an avid reader, and skilled in many different needle crafts.
Mrs. Cossaboon is survived by her daughter Claudia Randolph and husband Ray of Pennsville; one son Brian Cossaboon and wife Linda of Carney's Point; two sisters, Lois Swartz and husband Bill of Millville, and Marion Adams and husband Robert of Millville; four grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Sherron Cossaboon in 2002; one son Gary; and one sister Carole Shukovsky.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. There will be a viewing on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Millville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Pennsville Visiting Nurses, 14 N. Broadway, Pennsville, NJ 08070.
