Valerie K. Taylor

Valerie K. Taylor, age 49 of Millville passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.
 

She was born in Bridgeton to the late Scott and Laura (Smith) Taylor.   As a child, Valerie and her family moved to Virginia where she grew up and started her family.  She moved back to Cumberland County about 20 years ago.
 

Over the years Valerie lived a hard life, but a good life.  At a young age she was faced with extreme obstacles that lasted throughout her life, however she was fortunate to overcome so many of her difficulties.  She was proud to be an independent woman to raise her children, and enjoy her family.  Valerie had the biggest heart and was always very caring to her family and friends.  She enjoyed riding motorcycles and muscle cars, but most of all she loved her children.
 

Valerie will be sadly missed by her sons, Nicholas Scott Brown, Justin K. Livingston and Troy Porch; her siblings, Diana Capo-Ebersole, Sunday Smith, and Scott "Scooter" Smith-Taylor and his fiancée Angela Felmey; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her loving dog, best friend and guardian - Badass.  She was predeceased by her fiancé Guy Porch.

  A private memorial service will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.
