Thurman H. Edwards, a lifelong resident of Millville, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, August 21st, 2024. He was a beloved son, father, brother, and friend.

Thurman is survived by his son, Shawn Edwards (April Hyson) of Millville, NJ, as well as his sisters Marcia Edwards Ford and Merta Edwards Platt, brother William DuPriest, and brother-in-law George (Betty) Martin. He is also survived by his nieces Michelle Asselta, Nancy Martin-Sheppard, and Kris Vance. Thurman was predeceased by his father, Harry Edwards, mother, Ann Edwards, and spouse, Dawn Edwards.

Thurman was a graduate of Millville High School, Class of 1972. He was a hardworking laborer employed by Castellini Construction in Vineland, NJ. He was an avid drummer and played in band called the BBQ and Brew Crew with his wife Dawn and brother-in-law George. He loved listening to the Beatles and he enjoyed building models.

A private cremation will be held for Thurman. Memories of Thurman and condolences for his family may be shared on the tribute wall. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
