Thomas Carl Somerville Sr., age 62 of Millville, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013 at his residence after a lengthy illness.
Born in Ohio, he grew up in Pennsylvania and was a high school graduate. For the past 40 years, he lived in Millville.
Mr. Somerville worked as a machine operator for Aleris in Clayton for many years and retired.
He enjoyed watching movies, shopping, gardening and yard work, and holiday decorating for Halloween and Christmas.
Mr. Somerville is survived by his wife of 25 years JoAnn (Hogan); his children, Kimberlee Jo Bunn and her fiancé Wayne R. Gressman Jr., Bobbie Jo Sheppard and her husband Steven, and Thomas Carl Somerville Jr. and his fiancée Sandy, all of Millville; one sister Eva Roser and her husband Lester; seven grandchildren, Andrew, Rian, Katelyn, Alyssa, Steven, Gabrielle and Karlee; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Carl Somerville and Genevieve J. (Rummel) Young.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon on Friday in the Christy Funeral Home, 11W. Broad Street, Millville. There will be viewing on Friday from 11 a.m. to 12 noon in the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
