Thomas C. Gibbs, age 61, passed away on Wednesday, November 19th, 2025. Thomas was born in Elmer, NJ and was a longtime resident of Millville, NJ.

Thomas was a dedicated tool worker at ChemGlass in Vineland, NJ, where he was known for his strong work ethic and camaraderie with his colleagues. In addition to his primary occupation, he also worked as a security guard at the New Jersey Motorsports Park.

An avid pool player, Thomas could often be found competing in tournaments at the QBall in Vineland. His love for games extended to darts, chess, and video games, where he found joy and relaxation. Thomas cherished spending time with his friends and family, particularly enjoying trips with his beloved sister, Ella. A devoted fan of the Buffalo Bills, he never missed a game and was always ready to cheer on his team.

Thomas is survived by his son, Eric Gibbs; his mother, Joyce L. Thornton; and his siblings, Johnathan Thornton, Debra Gibbs, and Ella McDowell. He also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his cherished daughter, Morgan Gibbs; his father, Henry C. Gibbs; and his sister, Robin Stansell.

Thomas will be cremated privately. Family and friends can gather to share memories and honor his legacy on Saturday December 6, 2025 with a visitation from 11:00 to 12:00 pm, and a memorial service beginning at 12:00 pm at Christy Funeral Home, 11 West Broad St., Millville, NJ. Memories of Thomas and condolences for his family may be shared on his tribute wall.
