Tammy Lynn (Erricson) Betchner passed away unexpectedly Monday evening, March 17, 2014 at the age of 41.
Tammy graduated from Millville Senior High School in 1990. She obtained certifications in massage therapy and cosmetology.
Tammy was an environmental activities aide at Cumberland Manor in Bridgeton, where she brought joy to many elderly residents. She was known for her artistic abilities like her many murals.
She enjoyed antiquing in Cape May, and a good ghost story. Tammy loved to make children smile, whether she was dressed as Talula the Clown or the Easter Bunny. She was a member of the UAW Local No. 2327 as a union representative.
Tammy is predeceased by her parents, Linwood Paul Erricson and Nancy Ann (Rutherford). Tammy is survived by her children, Joshua (14) and Abigail (9); her wusband Kevin Betchner; her brother and sister-in-law Ronnie and Brenda Erricson; her sister and brother-in-law Diane and Adam Pearl; her three nieces and one nephew; as well as her companion Chris McKeon. She also leaves behind Lou the Dog.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. Family and friends may call Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville.
Flowers may be sent to Christy Funeral Home, and memorial contributions may be made in Tammy's name to the Cumberland County SPCA, 1244 N. Delsea Drive, Vineland, NJ 08360.
