Sherrill A. (Freberg) Hansson, age 87 of Shiloh and formerly of Millville, passed away, Tuesday morning  July 11, 2023 surrounded by her family.
  She was born in New Britain, CT to the late Edward and Emily (Lea) Freberg, and she graduated from New Britain High School, Class of 1954. 
  For over 20 years, Sherrill worked as a secretary in the insurance field and retired.  Due to her husband's career, she lived in many places including, Florida, Finland, Ireland, Millville and England.  In 1993 Sherrill and her family settled back in Millville.  
  She was a member of the American Woman's Club in Finland.  She enjoyed playing golf and painting, but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, as she was affectionately called "Baya."
  Sherrill will be sadly missed by  her children, Mark G.  Hansson Sr. and his wife Mary Beth (Schad) of Tampa, FL, and Valerie Labonne and her husband Brian of Bridgeton; one sister Jean Golyshko of Southington, CT; three grandchildren, Mark G. Hansson Jr., Julia Labonne and Paul Labonne; two step grandchildren, Oliver Schad and Eloise Schad; and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband Gilbert in 2012.
  Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2023 in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville.  Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.  Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Millville.
