Sean M. Norcross, age 39 of Millville, died suddenly Sat. evening, March 9, 2013 at his residence.
Born in Vineland, he was a life long Millville resident and a graduate of Millville High School, class of 1991.
He had worked for Accent Fence Co. of Egg Harbor. Prior to that he had worked for Earl Pangburn Fence Co and General Fence Co.
He will be remembered for hiking the Appalachian Trail for over a 20 year period. His hobbies included gardening, cooking, and canning. He was an avid Phillis fan, and in his free time he enjoyed playing poker.
He is survived by his son Sean Norcross Jr. and Sean's mother Elizabeth Batten; his brother Jason Norcross and life partner Victor Bowers of Garden Grove, CA; his parents, Wayne and Kathleen (Oliver) Norcross of Millville; his uncles, Frank (Connie) Norcross of Stone Harbor, Donald (Mary) Norcross of Salem, NH, Calvin (Michelle) Oliver of Millville, and Steven (Maria) Oliver of Millville; his Aunt Angela (Howard) Brozina; and many cousins.
A calling hour will be held Thurs. evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad St., Millville, with a memorial service to follow at 8 p.m.
Entombment in Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville will be private at a later date.
