Salvatore A. Rosa Jr., age 55, of Maurice River Twp., NJ, passed away Tuesday January 3, 2023.  He was born in Vineland, NJ and had resided in Maurice River Twp. for many years. 

  Sal worked as a truck driver for many area companies, but most of his time was spent with RLS Logistics.  He was a man who could fix anything; as his friends would say, “it ain’t broke until Sal can’t fix it.”  He loved his remote-control cars, planes, and boats, building model cars, riding on his motorcycle with wife, metal detecting, going to estate and yard sales and collecting anything with a motor.  In his younger years, he often hung out on Landis Ave. in Vineland, where he would go on to meet his wife Ann-Marie. 

 Salvatore is the beloved husband of Ann-Marie “Anna” Rosa.  He is the cherished father of Salvatore III and Nick Rosa.  He is the loving brother of Steven (Stormy) Rosa, and proud uncle of Danny (Veronica) Francheschini.  Sal is predeceased by his parents Alicia and Salvatore Rosa Sr., his sister Toni Clark and his brother Mark Rosa. 

  Relatives and friends may join with Sal’s family in remembering him on Friday January 13, 2023 from 5:00 to 6:00 pm at the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad St. Millville, NJ.  A prayer service will begin at 6:00 pm.  It is the request of Sal and his family that those who attend the services, kindly where jeans or casual clothing. 

  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sal’s memory to the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202.
