We are deeply saddened by the passing of Rosemary (Hantus) Rodgers, 75 of Millville, after an extended battle with cancer.

Rosemary was born in Bedford, Virginia. At a young age she came to Millville, NJ, where she resided until her passing. She worked for many years at the Vineland Developmental Services, Kerr and Wheaton Glass for some years after.

Rosemary was a stay-at-home mom after her career. Growing up she loved the outdoors, riding dirt bikes, fishing, cooking, and racecars and street bikes. Rosemary enjoyed cooking and going to church and doing nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren and family who meant the world to her.

Rosemary will be sadly missed by her survived husband of 57 years, Daniel J Rodgers Sr; her Brother Michael Hantus, her sons, Daniel Rodgers Jr (Olga Rodgers); James Rodgers (Tammy Patrick) ; Daughters Michelle Bradley( Chuck Koones) ; Norma Colby (Ed Colby), grandchildren John Bradley, Evan Rodgers, Aaron Bodine, Daniel J Rodgers 3rd , Angelina Hale, Savannah Colby, Eddie Colby Jr, Olivia Rodgers, Brady Rodgers, Jemma Rodgers, Cody Bradley, Zoey Bradley, Jaxon Rodgers, great grandchildren. Adeline, Damien, Blake and Aayan, with her extended family; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Rosemary was predeceased by her parents Michael and Nancy Hantus; her sisters Virginia Hantus, Betty Hantus, Dolly Hantus and her granddaughter Jacqueline Faith Bodine.

Rosemary was a mom, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend that had a huge heart. Your worries were her worries. She loved the Lord and had great faith in him and always put everyone else’s prayers before her own. She will forever be in our hearts, and we know she is always watching over us from above.

Relatives and friends are invited to join with the Rosemary's family for a viewing on Tuesday October 22, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Christy Funeral Home, 11 West Broad St., Millville, NJ. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville, NJ. Memories of Rosemary and condolences for her family may be shared on the tribute wall.
