Roberta "Bonnie" Doris (Reeves) Burrell, age 76 of Millville, passed away Sunday morning, January 29, 2023 at her residence.  Bonnie was born in Millville to the late Wilbert and Sarah (Hignett) Reeves Sr., and she graduated from Millville High School.  For a few years Bonnie lived in Vineland, but moved back to her hometown of Millville.  

For over 30 years, Bonnie worked for the Vineland Developmental Center as a recreational therapist and retired.  Bonnie was an avid animal lover, and a few of her favorite pastimes were going to the casinos, making flower arrangements and doing arts and crafts.  She was a kind and generous person who will be dearly missed by many.

Bonnie is survived by her sister Loretta Kears of Millville; two nephews, Paul Kears Jr., and Mark Kears and his wife Nancy; three nieces, Diana Reeves Walker, Susan Armington and her husband Richard, and Joni Woodruff; many great nieces and nephews; and her loving cat Cali.  She was predeceased by two brothers, William Reeves and Wilbert F. Reeves Jr.

A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2023 in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville.  Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.  Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.  The family requests memorial contributions to the South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter, 1244 N. Delsea Drive, Vineland, NJ 08360.
