Robert G. Sharp passed away surrounded by his loving family on December 10, 2024 at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center,  Mainland Campus. 

Robert Sharp more formally known to his friends and family as Bob Sharp was born on December 6, 1951 in Millville, New Jersey to his loving parents George and Janice Sharp.  Robert went on to graduate Millville high school class of 1970.  While in school, Bob met the love of his life, Patricia Murowany the two were married on July 3, 1971.  Bob was a devoted father and worked very hard to provide for his family, Jessica, Timothy and Andrea.

Bob made a career as a cable splicer for  Bell telephone company starting back in 1972, eventually retiring in 2010 after Bell converted to Verizon. In his spare time, Bob enjoyed working with the Boy Scouts in Troop 4 in Millville which abled him to spend more time with his son Timothy.  He was later recognized with many accolades for his contributions made to the Boy Scouts, eventually becoming a commissioner for the organization. He  had a love for the stars and planets and was a member of the South Jersey Astronomy Club.  He was also an avid lover of animals, especially his cat Frost whom he has dearly missed. 

Bob is predeceased by his parents, George and Janice Sharp and his brother John Chain Jr.

Bob is survived by his devoted wife Patricia and their three children Jessica (Bob) Orr, Timothy (Rachel) and Andrea (Brian) Sharp, as well as his three grandchildren Ethan , Ava and Logan.  He is also survived by his loving sister Carol (John) Digue, along with his nieces Janice ,Kelly and nephew Kyle.  

Bob will be remembered on December 18 at Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville NJ.  A viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by a short service and burial in Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville.  Memories of Robert and condolences to his family may be shared on his tribute wall.
