Robert C. "Bob" Piper, age 76 of Millville, passed away Thursday morning, January 23, 2025 at Big Oak Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Pittsgrove Twp. after an extended illness.

 Born in Millville to the late Franklin and Anna Mary (Kupski) Piper, he graduated from Millville High School and was a lifelong resident. He joined the United States Navy and served from 1969 to 1971 as a Fleet Replenishment Oiler during the Vietnam War.  
 

Bob was a carpenter by trade, and for over 40 years he worked for Silverton Yacht as a cabinet maker.  A few of his favorite pastimes were skiing, camping, fishing and coin collecting.
 

Bob will be missed by his children, Paula Hinckley (Richard), and Timothy Piper Sr. (Shawna); his siblings, Ken Piper, Earl Piper, Brian Piper, Terry Piper, Carol Mason, and Cynthia Luciano; four grandchildren, Timothy Jr., Kayla, Zachary, and Gabriel; two great grandchildren, Timothy III and Patrick; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by his wife Susan (Barilla) in 2001; and two siblings. D.J. Piper and Irene Piper.  

A Memorial Service will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025 in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville.  Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the funeral home.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
