Robert H. Loth, Jr.

Robert H. Loth, Jr., age 77, of Port Elizabeth, NJ, passed away on Sunday October 22, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family. He is the beloved husband of Jacqueline Loth (nee Newhouser). Loving father of Cori (George) Coulter, Jennifer (John) Lee, Robert H. (Kelly Fallows) Loth III, and Tracy (Joe) Boyd. Proud grandfather of Shelby, Joey, Dana, Abigail, Johnny, Alyssa, Katie, Allie, and Garret. Dear brother of the late Carol Carter. He is also survived and will be sadly missed by his niece Beth Lyford and nephew Todd Carter.

Robert was born in Millville, NJ and was a lifelong area resident. He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, where he served on a gunner boat. He went on to work as a truck driver for several area companies over the years. He was a member of Mauricetown United Methodist Church and a volunteer with the Port Elizabeth Volunteer Fire Company.

Robert enjoyed boating, water skiing, and camping. He also loved to rescue and raise greyhounds with his wife. He was known in the greyhound rescue community as "Farmer Bob." He could often be found riding his golf cart as the neighborhood watch of Port Elizabeth or watching Judge Judy.

Relatives and friends are invited to join with Robert's family for a visitation on Wednesday November 1, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Mauricetown United Methodist Church, 9574 Noble St., Mauricetown, NJ. A memorial service followed by military honors will begin at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's memory to the Port Elizabeth Volunteer Fire Company, PO Box 31, Port Elizabeth, NJ 08348 Memories of Robert and condolences for his family may be shared using the tribute wall.
