Robert M. Kilroy Jr., age 55 of Millville, NJ passed away on Friday, September 6th, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones after an extended illness. He was a longtime resident of Millville, NJ, where he filled the lives of those around him with joy and laughter. He was born on June 24th, 1969, in Vineland to Robert M. Kilroy Sr. and Suzanne Kilroy. He graduated from Millville Senior High School in 1988.

Robert is survived by his loving daughter, Lisa (Tom) Priestley, and his cherished granddaughters, Lucy and Rosie. He also leaves behind his devoted mother, Suzanne Kilroy, and his brothers Cliff (Debbie) Kilroy and Sean Kilroy Sr. His memory will also live on in his niece Dana Kilroy and nephews Sean Kilroy Jr. and Drew Kilroy. Robert's circle of dear friends included Herb Nelson, Shawn Scott (and his service dog Zoey), Mike Whilden, Chuck Gale, Steve (Rachel) Velez, and Tracey DeRock. His faithful companions, dog Buggy and cat Denzel, will miss him dearly. Robert was predeceased by his father, Robert M. Kilroy Sr.

Professionally, Robert was a skilled carpenter, leaving his mark in many places. He especially left his mark on the family business, Mulford's Seafood, in Millville, NJ. Beyond work, Robert found great joy in outdoor activities. He had a passion for snake hunting, fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. His love for nature was immense, and he found peace and happiness in the great outdoors. One could always find him with some sort of critter at any time. Robert also loved spending time with his grandchildren and cherished his trips to Florida and West Virginia. He was an avid admirer of Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter.

A viewing will be held at Christy Funeral Home, 11 West Broad St., Millville, NJ on Saturday, September 14th, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Funeral services will follow immediately, beginning at 3:00 pm. Cremation will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Robert’s name to the Cape May Zoological Society. Memories of Robert and condolences for his family may be shared on the tribute wall.
