Robert Charles Grenon, age 78 of Dorchester, died peacefully on Monday, February 24, 2014 at his home.
Mr. Grenon was born in Newark and he raised his family in Hackettstown. He served in the US Army in Germany during the Vietnam War.
For 30 years, he worked as a school teacher at Brooklawn Junior High School in Parsippany. He retired to Cape May County and spent his last days in Cumberland County. He was a train enthusiast, and he loved gardening and the outdoors.
Mr. Grenon is survived by ten children, Kevin, Gerald, Aimee, Nikki, Alison, Alyssa, Aileen, Michael, Colin, and Blythe; 20 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and his former wife Barbara Abrams. He was predeceased by one son Christopher; and his mother Rose Rigoletti.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
