Richard Andrew "Andy" Carter, passed away on Thursday, January 15th, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Willingboro, NJ, Andy lived a life full of adventure and warmth, residing in many different places before settling in Millville, NJ, where he spent the last decade of his life.
Andy was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his father, Richard L. Carter (Susan), and his daughter, Evelyn Carter. He also leaves behind his siblings, Alison Carter (Eric Myers), Christina Zuckier (Michael), and Virginia Carter (Mike Kotyk), as well as his cherished nephews, Michael and Aiden. Andy's loving aunt, Alice Repici (Tony), also survives him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Carter.
Most recently, Andy worked as a dealer at the Golden Nugget in Atlantic City, NJ, where he was known for his professionalism and friendly demeanor. Outside of work, Andy had a passion for fishing, playing pool, and engaging in the Mafia Wars game on Facebook. His generosity, kind heart, and sense of humor touched everyone who knew him.
In accordance with his wishes, a private cremation will be held. Memories of Andy and condolences for his family may be shared on his tribute wall, allowing those who knew him to celebrate his life and legacy.
