Rebecca Lynne "Becky" (Burch) Morris, age 57 of Millville passed away suddenly and unexpectedly Tuesday morning, May 6, 2025.

Becky was born in Winston-Salem, NC to the late Thomas Frank and Barbara Ann (Bragg) Burch Jr. She grew up in Larona, WV, and graduated from Athens High School in 1985. She then graduated from Athens College and soon moved to Millville to reunite with her family.

For a few years Becky worked for Wheaton Scientific, before starting her teaching career at Silver Run Road School in Millville. After 21 1/2 years she retired. She enjoyed being outside, planting flowers and sunbathing, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Becky will be sadly missed by her husband and "bestie" of 34 years, Bruce Morris Jr.; and her children, Kayla Morris and Bruce Morris III, who lovingly referred to her as "Mee-Maw." She is also survived by her in-laws Bruce Sr. and Patsy Morris, along with extended family and friends.

There will be a visitation on Monday evening May 12, 2025 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations to Becky's family would be greatly appreciated. Memories of Rebecca Lynne Morris and condolences to her family may be shared on her tribute wall.
