Raymond Henry Smith, a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 6th, 2026. Born and raised in Vineland, Raymond was a cherished member of the community, known for his warm spirit and love for life.
Raymond dedicated his career to his work as an electrician, proudly serving with IBEW 351 in Hammonton, NJ. His expertise and commitment to his craft were admired by colleagues and clients alike.
Outside of work, Raymond had a zest for life that was evident in his many passions. He found joy in riding his motorcycles, capturing the world through photography, and nurturing his garden. An avid pool player, Raymond participated in numerous tournaments over the years, showcasing his skill and competitive spirit.
Raymond is survived by his loving sons, Jason Smith (Meghan) and Sean Smith (Allison), who were the pride and joy of his life. He is also survived by his devoted sisters, Debra Stamas, Ernestine Venuto (Sal), and Tracy O'Hara (Tom), as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will fondly remember his kindness and humor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Marian Smith, and his brother, David Smith, who have surely welcomed him with open arms.
In accordance with his wishes, a private cremation will be held. The family invites those who knew Raymond to share their memories and condolences on his tribute wall.
