Raymond Harry Noblett of Bricksboro, NJ passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones, on March 29, 2026, after a prolonged illness. He was 80 years old.
Raymond graduated from Millville High School in 1964 before being drafted into the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He served for two years while stationed in California and was honorably discharged in 1966.
Following his military service, Raymond began a long and dedicated career at the West Company in Millville. He later continued his career at Bayside State Prison, where he worked as an Industrial Manager in the Tag Shop for many years. Raymond retired from Bayside in 2013.
Raymond’s quick wit and sharp sense of humor were a beloved part of family functions, although he reserved his dad jokes for the ones most likely to groan, his children. An avid gardener, Raymond took pride in his summer garden and enjoyed sharing his bounty, especially his white corn, tomatoes, and asparagus, with family and friends. Summers were his favorite time of year, when he could be found enjoying the time in his garden, grilling a delicious dinner for his family, and watching or listening to Phillies games all season long. Raymond was a crossword puzzle master and loved spending early mornings at the kitchen table with his wife, MaryAnn, drinking coffee and working on his puzzles. Raymond also enjoyed watching old Western movies and listening to the classic country music of Merle Haggard, George Jones, and Willie Nelson.
Above all else, Raymond was devoted to his family. His happiest moments were when he was surrounded by the banter of his children, the giggles of his grandchildren, and the attention of his beloved dog, Ziva.
Raymond is survived by his daughters, Christi Harris (Douglas) of Millville and Abbi Campbell (David) of Riverton; his son, Donald Noblett (Jessica) of Vineland; his grandchildren, Nathan, Charlotte, Lucy, Brooks, Samuel, Louis, and Maxwell; his brothers Robert (Francine) of Millville and Ronald (Barbara) of Millville; his sisters, Patricia Andrews of Millville, Mary Yu (Fred) of Vineland, and Kate Moore (Bruce) of Laurel Springs; as well as many nieces and nephews. Raymond is preceded in death by his wife, MaryAnn; his parents, Harry and Helen; his brother Richard; and his nephews Ron, Danny, and Bobby.
Relatives and friends are invited to join with Raymond’s family for a viewing on Friday April 3, 2026 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Christy Funeral Home, 11 West Broad St., Millville, NJ. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 am. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville, NJ. Memories of Raymond and condolences for his family may be shared on his tribute wall.
In lieu of flowers, Raymond’s family requests that donations be made in his memory to the Veteran’s Memorial Home in Vineland, NJ.
