Ralph "Yamo" Nicholas Hunter, age 56 of Millville died suddenly Friday June 7, 2013 at the Inspira Health Center, Vineland.
Born in Millville, he grew up here and was a Millville High School graduate, class of 1975.
He had worked for Wheaton Glass Co. for 24 years where he was a member of Union Local No. 219, GMP. He enjoyed working on antique cars and shooting pool with his best friend Richard.
He is survived by his sister Kim Hollenweger and husband Oscar of Millville; six brothers, John and wife Ilene of Millville; James and wife Belinda of Monroeville; Jack and companion Terry of Pt. Norris; Robert and wife Susan of Millville; Irving of Millville; and Michael and companion Helen of Millville; his mother Grace Seeds Hunter of Millville; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father John Hunter Sr. and a brother Bryant.
A memorial service will be conducted on Friday, June 14, at 2 p.m. in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad St., Millville. There will be a calling hour from 1 to 2 p.m. before the service.
Burial will be private at a later date.
