Patricia (Joyce) Lynch, age 84 of Laurel Lake, Millville, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013 at the Inspira Medical Center after a brief illness.
Born in PA, Mrs. Lynch grew up in the Media area and graduated from Upper Darby High School.
For many years, she worked as a dispatcher for Airport Shuttle Service in Philadelphia, PA. After moving to Dividing Creek and then to Laurel Lake, she worked as a driver for Sheppard Bus Company until June of 2013.
Mrs. Lynch loved animals, and she raised dogs and cats. She was an avid gardener and she enjoyed growing flowers. She attended the Lady of The Lake Church in Laurel Lake.
Mrs. Lynch is survived by one son Lowry "Skip" Stranaghan and his companion Jane Henry of Millville; three grandchildren, Christina Stranaghan and husband Lenny Weaver of Millville, Stephanie Napoli and husband Joshua of Virginia, and Erika Gandy and husband Bret of Millville; six great grandchildren; and one uncle Jack McKay of West Chester, PA. She was predeceased by her husband Andrew Lynch in 1996.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 15, 2013 in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. There will be a viewing on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Inurnment will be at a later date in St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester, PA.
The family requests memorial contributions to be made to the Cumberland County SPCA, 1244 N. Delsea Drive, Vineland, NJ 08360.
