Nora Beal (Elliott) Whilden

Nora Beal (Elliott) Whilden, age 71 of Millville, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, November 24, 2024 at the Hammonton Center in Hammonton.
 

Nora was born to the late Robert and Jeanette Lola (Shaw) Elliott, and she lived most of her life in Millville.  
 

Over the years she worked as a home health aide and for Wheaton Glass Co., as well as being a homemaker.

Nora enjoyed playing her piano, spending time at the beach and boardwalk, shopping, doing arts and crafts, and she was particularly fond of food and coffee.   She was a very giving and generous person, and loved her family very much.
 

Nora will be sadly missed by her twin daughters, Carol Fairhurst and her husband Michael, and Donna Bradford and her husband James, all of Millville; one son Paul Whilden Jr. and his wife Kathy of Millville; two brothers, Robert Elliott and John Elliott; one sister Brenda Dunkle; five grandchildren, Mandy, Amber, Dylan, Branden and Jacob; and one great grandson Ayden.  She was predeceased by one sister Marie.

  Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 29, 2024 in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville.  Family and friends will be received on Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.  Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Millville.
