Mulford R. Cottrell, age 82 of Millville sadly passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family.
 

Born in Millville to the late Willard and Margaret (Beakley) Cottrell Sr., he graduated from Millville High School in 1959 and was a life long resident. 
 

For 45 years, Mulford worked for Wheaton Glass Co. in Millville in the Process Engineering and Maintenance Department, retiring in 2005.

He was a loving, wonderful husband and father, who was kind, practical, very funny, and he could build and fix anything in and outside his home, and helped anyone else who needed a hand.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, working outdoors, going to the Jersey and N.C. beaches, Fortescue sunsets, vacationing with his family and friends, whether it be on special trips or being at home hanging out on the porch watching the birds, going to Lancaster with Jackie, Tom and Leslie and at the family camp in Stockbridge, VT looking at the beautiful scenery, and taking long drives, happy to be with nature. 

Mulford will be deeply missed by his wife of 60 years, Jacqueline "Jackie" (Beebe); his children, Deanna Cottrell of Stockbridge, VT, and Thomas Cottrell (Carrie) of Rosenhayn, N.J.; brothers-in-law Thomas Beebe (Leslie), Peter Randazzo of Millville, Stanley Cook of Delran, NJ; sisters-in-law Lorraine (Lori) Beebe of Villas NJ, Charlotte Cottrell of Dorchester, NJ; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and there was a special place in his heart for his great niece Maddie.  He was predeceased by his siblings, Willard Cottrell,  Jr., Deborah Kendall, Richard Cottrell, Marvin Cottrell,  Mabel "Mike" Cook, Elizabeth "Betty" Cossaboon, Helen Randazzo and Fred Cottrell.  Especially grateful to brother Tom Beebe and wife Leslie; sister Lorraine Beebe; nieces, Alyson Baker, Lisa Basile; nephew Jon Beebe; and cousins, Kit and Dave Timmons for their kind and loving support.
