Lois E. Williams, age 81 of Millville, died Thursday evening, June 12, 2014 at her residence after an extended illness.
Born in Runnemede, she grew up there and graduated from Camden High School.
She worked for Dunkin Donuts for several years and enjoyed the work and her association with the public. Most recently, she worked as a custodian for Egg Harbor Township High School and retired. She has always been considered a "People Person."
She enjoyed her pet dogs, especially her poodle "Licorice." She was an avid reader and ardent bird watcher. She loved to listen to classical music, and in her free time, she crocheted blankets, and worked with other crafts. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles.
She is survived by her husband John A. Williams, one sister Nancy Veach of CA; her best friend Barbara Price and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad St., Millville. There will be a viewing in the funeral home before the service from 9 - 11 a.m.
Burial in the Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery, Hopewell Township, will take place at a later date.
