Michael Erwin Capoferri Sr., age 68 of Millville, passed away Friday afternoon, July 5, 2024 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland, with his loving family by his side.  He had been in declining health since this past September.
 

Born in Camden, NJ he grew up in Millville, graduated from Millville High School, Class of 1976, and soon married his high school sweetheart, Freda.  This September they would have celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary.
 

Michael began his trucking career with Wares Van and Storage Co. Inc. in Vineland.  He worked there for many years until it closed.  Then he worked for Sinclair Moving and Storage in West Berlin for many years and retired.  
 

Michael was a member of The First Assembly of God Church in Millville.  He enjoyed camping, taking trips to Carlisle, PA for car shows, watching car shows on T.V., and working on his hobbies around his home, but most of all he loved family time and holidays.
 

Michael will be sadly missed by his wife Freda (Baker); his sons, Michael E. Capoferri Jr. and Brian F. Capoferri, both of Millville; one sister Linda Paes of Millville; one brother Ronald Capoferri of Williamstown; many nieces, nephews and cousins; his loving dog Maggie; and his granddog Vinny.  He was predeceased by his father Vincent J. Capoferri II; his mother and step father, Catherine (Frassetto) and Salvatore DeMaio; two brothers, Vincent J. Capoferri III and Robert Capoferri; and his beloved dog Shelby.
 

Funeral services will be conducted at 12 p.m. on Monday, July 15, 2024 in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville.  Family and friends will be received on Monday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the funeral Home.  Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Millville.  Everyone in attendance is kindly asked to wear casual and comfortable clothes to remember Michael.
