Mary Elizabeth (Adams) Freeman age 73 of Commercial Twp., Millville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 27, 2025 at home with her loving family close by.

She was born in Millville to the late George P. and Violet Adams Sr.  She was a life long Millville resident and attended Millville Public Schools.
 
For over 40 years Mary worked as a CNA all over South Jersey and retired.

She enjoyed traveling, especially to New Hampshire and many southern states.

Mary will be sadly missed by her children, George Freeman III (Dawn) of Millville, Patricia Freeman (Robert Rosa) of Millville, and Gale Harris (Earl) of Texas; two brothers, Clay Adams and Richard "Cole" Adams, both of GA; ten grandchildren; many great grandchildren; many great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her companion George Freeman Jr. in 2021; one son Scott Freeman; her siblings, Terri Adams and George P. Adams Jr.; and her faithful and loving dogs, Jack and Charlie.

A memorial service will be at the convenience of the family.
