Maria Celia Dure, age 87 of Millville, passed away, early Thursday morning, January 31, 2013 at her residence after a brief illness.
Born and raised in Uruguay, she moved to the United States in 1996, and then settled in Millville in 1998. She was a member of the Parish of All Saints in Millville.
Maria was a homemaker, and she was a talented seamstress. She truly enjoyed taking care of others and spending time with her family. She was a very neighborly person, and she will be missed dearly.
Maria is survived by her daughter Araceli Taberna and her husband Hugo of Millville; two granddaughters, Jacqueline Brescia and her husband Daniel, and Fabiana Taberna; and two great grandchildren, Alexander and Daniella Brescia. She was predeceased by her husband Juan Carlos Molina; and two brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday in the Parish of All Saints, Buck and Depot Streets, Millville. There will be a viewing on Tuesday from 9 to 10:45 a.m. in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
The family requests memorial contributions to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
