Margaret Lenora Lewis, age 74, of Millville, NJ, went to be with the Lord on Monday January 16, 2023 after a short illness.

  Born in Millville to Frank and Nelda (nee Rogers) Bennett, she was a lifelong resident of the town.    Margaret worked for Holly City Packing, retiring over 25 years ago.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her favorite football team play, which were the New York Giants.

  Margaret is survived by her husband of 55 years, Daniel L. Lewis Sr., daughter Nelda (Vernon) Jones, 2 sons Daniel L. Lewis Jr. and Matthew (Juanita) Lewis, and her dog Lilly.  She is the proud grandmother of 3 grandsons, Earl (Tamerlaine) Harris, Bradley (Caitlin) Harris, and Logan Lewis; 4 granddaughters, Sarah (Bryan) Lewis, Jane, Isabel, and Annabelle Lewis.  Dear great grandmother of Jasper Ramos and Quinn Harris.  She is also survived by her brother Milton Bennett and sister Frances Plumline, as well as many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

  Margaret is predeceased by her son Frank Clarence Lewis, her parents Frank and Nelda “Betty” Bennett and her brother Frank Bennett Sr.

  Church services will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2023 in the Newport Baptist Church, 321 Baptist Road, Newport, NJ.  Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the church.  Burial will be in the Haleyville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
