Lynn Kreamer Sher, 89, of Voorhees Twp., and formerly of Millville and Galloway Twp. died peacefully on Saturday, March 29th, 2025 at her home in Lions Gate retirement community.
Mrs. Sher was born in Philadelphia, grew up in Millville and graduated from Millville High School, class of 1952. She married Paul B. Sher, MD, of Vineland in 1952 and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1956. Mrs. Sher joined her husband in Texas for two years during his service in the Air Force. For the following four decades Mrs. Sher called Millville home, proudly organizing and administering her husband’s medical practice.
She was an active member of the Beth Hillel Synagogue in Millville and the Millville Public Library Board.
Mrs. Sher was devoted to her family, friends and her many interests, including tennis with her grandchildren and a voracious appetite for current events.
Mrs. Sher is survived by her children, Stephanie Carol Sher Esq. of Media, PA,. Elisabeth Horowitz, MD, and her husband Ira Horowitz, MD, of Cherry Hill, and twins, Valerie Sher Rosati and her husband Richard of Mt. Arlington, and Barry Sher Esq. and his wife Lori (Thomas) of Summit; grandchildren, Jesse, Melissa, Elaina, Amanda, Gabrielle, Annie, Jillian, Maggie, Jake and Faith; great-grandchildren, Owen, Sophie, and Penelope; sister-in-law Barbara Gash of Rochester, Michigan.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. There will be a visitation from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Graveside services will follow at the Alliance Cemetery, Norma. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to be made to the Jewish Federation, 3071 E Chestnut Ave Suite E13 Vineland, NJ 08361.
