Lloyd N. Reese, age 91, of East Brunswick, NJ, formerly of Millville, NJ, passed away on Friday March 10, 2023 at his granddaughter's home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Ernestine Reese. Loving father of Bruna Semar, Stephen (Barbara) Smith, Patricia (Fritz) Bower, the late Cheryl DeJesus, Linda DeRiso, Steven (Gail) Reese, Kathy (Rick) Wisler, and Thomas Reese. Proud grandfather of 22 and great-grandfather of 30. He is also survived by his sister Mary Ruth Teeter.
Lloyd was born in Lansing, NY and was a longtime Millville, NJ resident. He attended seminary at Metropolitan Bible Institute, Suffern, NY, and New England Bible Institute, Framingham, MA. After seminary, he served as an Assembly of God pastor, before marrying his wife Ernestine. He went on to partner with his son in the construction trade, owning and operating Reese Enterprises, Inc. Throughout his life, he was a strong Christian man who honored those values instilled in his faith, and he served as his family pastor, even performing some weddings. He greatly loved his family, spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to join together in remembrance and faith on Friday March 17, 2023 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad St., Millville, NJ. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm. Interment with follow at Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville, NJ. Condolences and fond memories of Lloyd may be shared on the tribute wall.
