Kenneth Lee Hassinger, age 67 of Millville, died Fri. evening, May 31, 2013 at the Genesis Millville Center after an extended illness.
Born in Waterbury, CT, he grew up in Philadelphia and attended Olney High School.
He had worked for the Millwrights Union Local No. 1906 for 32 years and retired.
In his free time he enjoyed fishing, and being out of doors around wildlife.
He is survived by his son Kenneth Lee Hassinger Jr. and a daughter Dawn Hassinger, both of Bristol, PA; two step-daughters, Debbie Ward of Morgantown, PA and Nannette Trolene of Arizona; a step-son Peter Trolene of Cinnaminson; three brothers, Joseph of Philadelphia, PA, Forrest of Franklinville and Ronald of Pine Hill; one sister Pamela Hassinger Mayer of Swedesboro; and several grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife Alice (Trolene) and a sister Karen Hassinger.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thurs., June 6, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad St., Millville. There will be a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. before the service.
Burial will be in Haleyville Methodist Cemetery.
