Julio L. Reyes, age 65 of Millville, passed away Friday evening, December 6, 2024 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland with his family and friends by his side.
Julio was born in Paranaque, Philippines to the late Generoso Reyes Sr. and Pacita (De Leon). He graduated from St. Andrew School, and then PMI where he received his Merchant Marine Degree.
For about five years Julio traveled as a Merchant Marine, and then moved to the United States in 1987. In 1990 he married the love of his life, Jazmin and shared 34 wonderful years together.
For over 30 years, Julio worked as a car salesman for Lilliston Ford in Vineland, and then Lilliston Chrysler in Millville. He retired in 2023.
Julio enjoyed traveling, eating, working in his yard, spending time with friends, listening to music, reading his National Geographic magazines, watching the Eagles and Formula 1, and Filipino TV shows.
He was a member of The Parish of All Saints in Millville.
Julio will be sadly missed by his wife of 34 years, Jazmin (Toren); his children, Janelle Reyes, Joshua Reyes, and Jon Reyes; his siblings, Jesus Reyes and his wife Louisa, Federico Reyes, Bernadette Dijamco, Teresa Ward and her husband Kevin, Marina Cruz and her husband Fernando, and Christian Reyes and his wife Ellen; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Alice, Fred, Jose, Togo and Maris.
Family and friends will be received for the viewing at Christy Funeral Home in Millville, NJ from 8:30-10:30am on Thursday December 12th, 2024, followed by a funeral mass at 11am in The Parish of All Saints, Millville, NJ. Burial will be held in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland, NJ. Memories of Julio and condolences to his family may be shared on his tribute wall.
