Joseph Kierniesky

Joseph Kierniesky, age 98, of Millville, NJ. On Saturday February 25, 2023, our Heavenly Father opened his loving arms and called one of His most precious of children home.

Born in 1924 in Ford City, PA, Joseph moved to Millville at the age of six with his family, where they established values of hard work and family unity. He was a graduate of Millville High School and a veteran of World War II. Returning to Millville after the war, Joseph worked at Wheaton Glass Co., Mold Design Division for 38 years. He was a devout member of the Parish of All Saints and St. John Bosco Church.

Joseph was an independent, vibrant, considerate, and loving person. Those who knew him soon realized he had a subdued sense of humor and a great memory of people, places, and events from the past.

Joseph enjoyed his bus trips to Atlantic City with his "casino family." One of his highlights was the daily routine of early morning breakfasts and camaraderie from the Millville Diner. Over the years, he was very thankful for those dear friends and neighbors who were always there to ensure his well-being.

Joseph is survived by his nieces and nephews. Our "Uncle Joe" will be greatly missed and live in the hearts of his nieces and nephews and their families, who were blessed to share his life and his loving company.

A graveside service and military honors will be held on Tuesday March 7, 2023, at 11:00 am at Holy Cross Cemetery, High & Sharp Sts., Millville, NJ. Condolences and memories of "Uncle Joe" may be shared on the tribute wall.
