John "Bullet" William Sweet Jr.

John William "Bullet" Sweet Jr., age 82 of Millville, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA.  He had been battling cancer and heart issues for an extended time.
 

Born in Millville to the late John and Grace (Bernato) Sweet Sr., he was a life long resident.   

Throughout 47 years John worked for Armstrong Cork Co., Kerr Glass and Foster Forbes, all of Millville and retired as a Tank Manager.  During his retirement, he worked for Nipro in Millville.  
 

John was a member of Venatores Gunning Club and the Millville Moose Lodge.  A few of his favorite pastimes were spent boating, fishing, hunting, going to car shows and driving his Mustang, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and his loyal dog.  
 

John will be sadly missed by his wife of 25 years Laura (Linderman); his children, Debbie Trulli (Larry), John Sweet III, David Sweet (Cindi), Michael Sweet, Russell Osborn (Roz), Greg Osborn (Pam), and Karen Lewis (Robert); two brothers, Jim Wright (Lynette) and Wayne Sweet (Mary); six grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and his loving dog Panda.
 

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023 in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville.  Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the funeral home.  Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
