John Jerrell Webb Sr

  John Jerrell Webb Sr., age 76 of Millville, passed away Sunday afternoon, November 5, 2023 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland.
  Born in Millville, he attended Millville Public Schools and Elmer Elementary Schools, living most of his life in Millville.   
  At a young age, John worked on a farm for several years, before moving out west.  While in California, he worked at a local fish market, and was a commercial fisherman in Redundo, CA.  John moved back to NJ to be near his family, and for 12 years he worked for Wheaton Plastics as a color mixer operator.  
  John was a member of the Fourth United Methodist Church in Millville and the Millville YMCA.  He was also a member of the Young's Roller Skating (Speed) Club and won second place in the New Jersey State Championship 1987-1988. 
  John was an avid fisherman and surfer, and enjoyed powerboats and taking long walks on the boardwalk, but most of all, he loved his family and Redundo Beach, CA.
  John is survived by his children, Rachael, John J. Webb Jr., and James L. Webb.  He will be sadly missed by his sisters, P.J. Paten, and Tessie A. Ficcaglia; and six grandchildren.  He is predeceased by his mother RuthAnn (Jerrell);  his stepfather Joseph Paten; and two sisters, Linda A. Dixon and Dolores M. Paten.
  A private  memorial service will be at the convenience of the family at a later date.
