John Edward Lupperger, age 59 of Vineland, passed away Monday morning, July 14, 2014 after an extended illness.
Born and raised in Cumberland, he was a graduate from Millville High School.
John worked for Scott Paper in Landisville before working for West-Ward Pharmaceuticals in Cherry Hill.
John enjoyed photography, sailing, spending time at his property in Georgia, and riding his Harley.
John is survived by his wife Anita Lupperger; his daughter Vicky Lynn Lupperger of FL; two brothers, Frank Lupperger and wife Margaret, and Ted Lupperger all of Cumberland; five sisters, Marie Gerard of Millville, Frances Martin of Egg Harbor Twp., Jean Amadei and husband George of Dallas, PA, Margaret Flash and husband Raymond of S. Seaville, and Carol Warfle and husband Frank of Cumberland; his brother in law Ted Pekarsky of SC.; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Marie (Cherry) Lupperger; two brothers, Lawrence and George Lupperger; and his mother in law Anastasia Pekarsky.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2014 in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. There will be a viewing on Thursday from 9 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Cumberland United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family has requested memorial donations to be made to the Cumberland United Methodist Church, 5218 Route 49, Millville, NJ 08332.
