John Michael Lee Jr., age 53, passed away on Friday, July 17th, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Bridgeton, NJ, John later moved to Millville, NJ, where he continued to touch the lives of many with his warmth and humor.

John was a beloved son, husband, father, brother, and friend. He is survived by his devoted parents, John Lee Sr. and Peggy Lee, his loving wife, Jennifer G. Lee, and his cherished children, Abigail, Alyssa, and John. He also leaves behind his step-daughter, Shelby Bross, and her husband, David. John will be dearly missed by his brother, Kevin Lee, and his wife, Angie, as well as his sisters, Christine Lee Murphy and Erin Lee McCormick, and her husband, Kyle. His nieces, Colleen, Sara, and Grace Murphy, will forever hold fond memories of their uncle.

A proud graduate of Bridgeton High School, John dedicated 27 years of his life as a Food Service Supervisor at the State of NJ - Southwoods State Prison in Bridgeton, NJ. His commitment to his work and his colleagues was unwavering.

In his youth, John was an active member of his community, playing baseball and basketball, delivering newspapers, participating in the Boy Scouts, and volunteering with the Bridgeton Rescue Squad. His love for the Phillies, Flyers, and Eagles was well-known, as was his passion for cooking and baking. John had a knack for making people laugh and was well-liked by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation at Christy Funeral Home, 11 West Broad St., Millville, NJ, on Monday, August 3rd, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at 8:00 pm. The following morning, a Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 312 N. Pearl St., Bridgeton, NJ, on Tuesday, August 4th, 2026, at 10:00 am.

John's legacy of kindness, humor, and love will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. Memories of John and condolences for his family may be shared on his tribute wall.
