Jean Marie Williams, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 10th, 2026. She was a cherished resident of New Jersey, having spent most of her life in Millville before moving to Port Norris and later settling in Shiloh.

Jean was a dedicated seamstress, working for 25 years at Model Blouse, where she was a proud member of the Amalgamated Garment Workers Union. Her commitment to her craft and her colleagues was evident in her work and her enduring friendships.

A former member of the 2nd United Methodist Church in Millville, Jean was a woman of faith and community. She found joy in simple pleasures, such as metal detecting, visiting Disney World, and solving crossword and word search puzzles. Shopping was another of her favorite pastimes, where she often found treasures that brought smiles to her and her loved ones.

Jean is survived by her loving daughter, Cheryl Nieukirk, and her son, Gene Williams. Her legacy continues through her 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by her siblings, Betty, Dolores, Katherine, and Gary, who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Williams, and her children, Sherry Beakley, Patricia Corson, and John Joseph Williams. Her siblings Doris, Barbara, Sharon, Harry, and Thomas also welcomed her into eternal rest.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jean's life at a viewing on Friday, April 17th, 2026, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Christy Funeral Home, 11 West Broad St., Millville, NJ. A funeral service will follow at 10:30 am, with interment at Haleyville Cemetery, Haleyville, NJ.
