Jean Anna (Bieber) Litterer, age 92 of Millville, passed away suddenly and peacefully at home on Monday, September 2, 2024.
She was born in Turbotville, PA to the late Lawrence Bieber Sr. and Sadie (Moser), and graduated from Turbotville High School. Jean soon married Thomas and began their family together. In 1985, she and her family moved to Millville.
For over 25 years Jean worked in the gold lining department for Lenox China in Pomona and retired.
Jean was a member of the United Church of Christ. She enjoyed cheering on the Philadelphia Phillies, cooking, doing arts and crafts, playing BINGO, cards and all types of games, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and playing games with all of them.
Jean will be sadly missed by her children, Hurley E. Litterer (Grace) of Vineland, Sherry L. Masters (Robert) of Bridgeton, Polly A. Figarole (Richard) of Laurel Lake, and Connie S. Smith of Laurel Lake; four siblings, Lawrence Bieber Jr. of Turbotville, PA, her twin sister Joan Flick of Lutz, FL, Betty Derr of Milton, PA, and Maxine Miller of Lewisburg, PA; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas in 2005; her brother Gary Bieber; her grandson Thomas R. Litterer; and her son in law Steve Smith.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2024 in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery, Bridgeton. Memories of Jean and condolences to her family may be shared on the tribute wall.
