Jay Albert Aronhalt Jr., age 65 of Millville, passed away Saturday morning, August 30, 2025 at home after a brief illness with his loving son by his side.
Jay was born in Dade County, Florida to Jay Albert and Martha Jean (Shoop) Aronhalt Sr. He grew up in Browns Mills, NJ and graduated high school.
He became a truck driver and started driving for Mayflower as a Roadie for Pink Floyd, Heart, Meatloaf and the J. Geils Band for many years. In 1986 Jay moved to Cumberland County and continued his career driving trucks for National Freight Co. in Vineland. Years later he retired as a Warehouse Supervisor.
Jay was an avid antique collector, as well as a collector of truck memorabilia.
Jay will be sadly missed by his son Ryan Aronhalt; daughter Christina Reyes; grandchildren; Janelle and Manuel; and his loving fur baby, Midnight.
A private memorial service will be at a later date at the convenience of the family. Memories and expressions of sympathy for the family of Jay Aronhalt Jr. may be shared on his tribute wall.
