Jacob “Jake” Fidiaj, of Millville, NJ, passed away on Thursday July 13, 2023, at Cooper Hospital in Camden, NJ at the age of 73.

Jake was born on October 3, 1949, in Germany and came to the United States with his family through Ellis Island in 1950. He was raised in Millville, NJ, and graduated from Millville High School in 1968. He went on to receive a degree from Lincoln Tech.

In high school, Jake worked for Zellers Gas Station. After graduating, he worked at Foster Motors. In his later years, he worked for Sunnyside Farms and F&S Produce, before eventually retiring from Cumberland County.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Barbara (nee Antonelli). He is the beloved father of Jake Jr. (Jaclyn) and Tonya (Curtis). He is the proud grandfather of Riley and Cole. He is also survived by his brother Mike (Stephanie) and his sister Ann, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday July 19, 2023, from 9:00 to 10:00 am at the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad St., Millville, NJ. A prayer service will be at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Millville, NJ. Memories and condolences may be shared on the tribute wall.
