Jack Arthur Hunter age 60 of Port Norris, died Monday, July 29, 2013 at Cooper University Hospital, Camden after a brief illness.
Born and raised in Millville, he was a life long resident before moving to Port Norris.
Jack was currently working for Durand Glass Co. of Millville as a machine operator, where he has worked for over 15 years.
Jack adored his dogs and was a former member of the Millville Fire Department.
Jack is survived by his fiancée Terry Labas and her family; his mother Grace (Seeds) Hunter of Millville; his children, Amber Patton, Vincent Hunter, and Tiffany and Matthew Keefer; one sister Kim Hollenweger and husband Oscar of Millville; five brothers, John and wife Ilene of Millville, James and wife Belinda of Monroeville, Robert and wife Susan of Millville, Irving of Millville, and Michael and his companion Helen of Millville; four grandchildren, Christopher and Anthony Patton, and Angelo and Dominick Hunter; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dogs, Molly and Tammy. He was predeceased by his father John Hunter Sr.; and two brothers, Bryant, and Ralph "Yamo."
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Monday in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 3 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
