It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helmut "Kurt" Ulbrich, Jr., 89, of Millville, New Jersey, on July 17, 2026. Born on June 6, 1937, Kurt was a lifelong resident of the community. Kurt was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Son of the late Helmut Kurt Ulbrich Sr. and Beatrice Ulbrich (Hinderhopher), Kurt was a dedicated member of the Parish of All Saints. He attended St. Mary Magdalen School, Sacred Heart High School, and Rutgers University, Camden. Kurt's professional career included jewelry creation and repair, banking at Millville National Bank, and owning and operating a local Amoco station. Additionally, Kurt proudly served his country for 8 years in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, embodying the values of honor and service.

Beyond his professional life, Kurt's family will fondly remember him for his patriotism and love of gadgets, music, coin collecting, reading, and jokes. Above all, Kurt's greatest pride and joy in life was his large family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Josephine Ulbrich (nee D'Agostino); his loving children: Donna Felmey (late Gary), Lori Johns (late Jeffrey), Russell Ulbrich (Ingrid), JoAnn Sipin, Anita Calabrese (Vince), and Karl Ulbrich; his grandchildren: Angela and Michael Felmey, Jeffrey and Joseph Johns, Luke (Hannah), and Alex Ulbrich, Ariana Dorazio (Nicholas), Calli and Ella Sipin, and Clark and Anthony Calabrese; his great-granchildren: Shelby and Carly Smith; his brother Richard Ulbrich (Kathy), as well as many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and extended family members. Kurt was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Kurt A.Ulbrich (Alice).

A viewing will be held at Christy Funeral Home, 11 West Broad St., Millville, NJ, on Thursday, July 23rd, 2026, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 am at the Parish of All Saints, Buck and Depot Sts., Millville, New Jersey. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Millville, NJ.
