Helen A. Long (nee Waselenko), the daughter of immigrants from Ukraine, died on January 20, 2023, peacefully at the Inspira Hospital.

She survived her husband, Morton J. Long, and is survived by her sons, John J. Sr., Paul M., and Michael G., and her daughters Brenda, Rose and Emily Klotz. She loved her nine grandchildren John J. Jr., Lauren L., Matthew B., Christina M. Figarole, Jennifer Crawford, David, Max, Alex and Jacob, and their spouses, Britany, Cory Crawford, Kevin Lowthert, Buster Figarole and Samantha Sterner.

Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 824 Carmel Road, Millville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in the church. Burial will follow the mass in the church cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Christy Funeral Home, Millville.

Any donations in Helen's memory can be donated to Saint Nicholas's Ukrainian Catholic Church or any organization devoted to the protection of democracy in Ukraine and Eastern Europe. St. Nicks Ukrainian Catholic Church is located at 824 Carmel Road, Millville, New Jersey 08332.
