Gregory M. Simpkins age 57 of Bridgeton, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday, March 23, 2014.
Born and raised in Millville, he lived in Bridgeton for the past 15 years.
Mr. Simpkins was self employed, an avid fisherman and pool player, and a great brother. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Mr. Simpkins is survived by three sisters, Betty Ann Thomas of Millville, Cathy Taylor of Cedarville, and Sharon Grooms of Fortescue; two brothers, Joel Simpkins and wife Lugia of CA, and Charles B. "Chick" Simpkins Jr. and wife Maria of Salem; 12 nieces and nephews; 14 great nieces and nephews; one great great nephew; and his special friends, Cookie and Mel Elmer of Bridgeton. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles B. Simpkins Sr. and Elizabeth (Leek).
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, March 31, 2014 in Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville.
