Gladys M. (Teddar) Garrett, age 71 of Millville, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday morning, April 24, 2013 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland.
Born and raised in West Virginia, she graduated high school, and lived in Millville for over 48 years.
Mrs. Garrett retired from Trump Plaza in Atlantic City, where she worked in the housekeeping department for 18 years. Prior to that, she worked in the payroll department for Wheaton Glass Co.
She loved Elvis and eating at Denny's Restaurant.
Mrs. Garrett is survived by her daughter Connie Rivera of Millville; her son Leonard W. Garrett of Wisconsin; seven grandchildren, Heather, Tiffany, David, Jeremy, Megan, Jillian, and Joshua; and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Larry W. Garrett; and three brothers.
Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Monday, April 29, 2013 in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. A graveside service and inurnment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville.
